This challenge coin represents the interceptor class "SAFE Boat" driven by Customs and Border Protections Air and Marine Division.
The CBP “SAFE Boat” powers easily through rough seas and areas congested with waterborne debris. CBP Air and Marine use the SAFE Boat for pursuing and boarding of vessels transiting rough waters and locations with extreme weather conditions. It is part of the arsenal used by CBP Air and Marine to expand their reach in the fight against terrorism and illegal activities.
The front of this coin depicts the “SAFE Boat” in 3D surrounded by a brown circle in which is written "Customs and Border Protection" and "Air and Marine", while the reverse depicts the Department of Homeland Security Seal in full color.
